Greencastle Presbyterian Church Christian Seder meal

We invite you to join us on Thursday, March 29 at 6 p.m. for a Christian Seder meal. The meal is open to all in our community, and we would love to host you. If you would like to join us please contact the church office at 765-653-5713 by March 26 to make reservations. Seating is limited, attendance by reservation only.

Greencastle Presbyterian Church sanctuary open Good Friday

On Good Friday, March 30, the sanctuary of the Greencastle Presbyterian Church (located at 635 S. CR 100E) will be available for anyone who is interested in spending quiet time thinking about Christ’s sacrifice for us.

Feel free to visit at your leisure staying as long as you like any time between noon and 3 p.m. During your visit the last words of Christ will be displayed in a PowerPoint presentation while quiet relaxing music plays in the sanctuary. Open to all.

Beech Grove United Methodist Church Easter services

Beech Grove United Methodist Church is preparing for Easter services.

March 25 Palm Sunday services at 11 a.m.

March 29 Maundy Thursday at 7 p.m.

March 30 Good Friday at 7 p.m.

April 1 Easter service at 8 a.m.with Pastor Frank Brasel.

A pitch in breakfast will follow the Easter service and everyone is welcome. Beech Grove United Methodist Church is located near the Parke County line, three miles south of US 36. For information or directions, call 765-653-9815 or 765-344-0008.

Wellspring Christian Church Good Friday, Easter services

The public is invited to share Easter weekend with Wellspring Christian Church. The church is located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 40 and Belle Union Road (725 S), east of Mt. Meridian on south side of U.S. Highway 40.

Friday, March 30, Good Friday Service at 7 p.m.

Sunday, April 1, Sunrise Easter Service at 7 a.m. with sunrise breakfast (pitch in) to follow. Regular worship service at 10 a.m.

Russellville Community church celebrates Holy Week

The Russellville Community Church will feature special services to celebrate Holy Week beginning Palm Sunday, March 25, with a pitch in at 5 p.m. and service at 6 p.m. Andrea Davies will be providing the music and Pastor Alan Small will deliver the message.

The Wednesday night service is at 7 p.m. with Kevin Swaim doing the music and Guy Studebaker, the service. Refreshments will be provided after the service.

Thursday is Maunday Thursday. Pastor Alan Small will provide the message. A drama titled, “Table for Two” will be presented.

Good Friday Service is March 30. There will be a Good Friday Service with Pastor Alan Small and youth presenting, “Stations of the Cross.”

Saturday, March 31 at 12 noon will be an Easter Bake Sale at the Russellville Community Center. So come get your homemade goodies for your Easter dinner. At 1 p.m. at the center will be the annual Easter Egg Hunt which is sponsored by the church. Come see the Easter bunny and get some surprises. Immediately following the hunt will be roller skating in the Russellville Community Center Gym. The cost to roller skate is $3. Refreshments will be available to purchase. Roller skating ends at 4:30 p.m.

Easter Sunday, April 1, Sunrise Service will be at 8 a.m. with breakfast following. Sunday School is at 9:30; Easter Worship Service at 10:30. Come, Celebrate the Lord, and worship with us!
