Cloverdale And Greencastle Legions Collecting Items For Tornado Victims

Cloverdale American Legion Post #281, in conjunction with the Greencastle American Legion Post 58, 1401 Indianapolis Road, is collecting items to be sent to Alabama for the victims of the recent tornadoes.

You may drop off donated items at the Cloverdale American Legion by Friday, May 6, 3 - 10 p.m. or early Saturday morning.

On Saturday May 7th from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. there will be a cookout at the Greencastle Legion. Anyone donating will receive a free meal. We will stage a trailer in the parking lot for donations made at that time or until we deliver to Alabama. Donations can be dropped off at the Legion during regular business hours. Due to the destruction in the south, we would accept any type of donations that would help these communities. For example: bottled water, toiletries, cleaning supplies, diapers, formula, non-perishable food items, clothing, bedding, furniture, and money, any other items that could help. We encourage our entire community to get involved. Please join us in this emergency relief effort. If you have questions or would like to help please call Vena @ 765-721-2330.
