Four Area Seniors Graduate From Alpha Omega Christian Academy

An enthusiastic audience of parents and friends attended the Alpha Omega Christian Academy Commencement ceremony on Friday, May 13, at Putnamville Baptist Church. Alpha Omega is an education mission of the church. The ceremony began at 6:30 p.m. following an afternoon reception for the seniors.

Graduates are:

Hannah Bennett, daughter of Pastor Stewart and Regina Bennett, Reelsville

Josh Trivett, son of Dan and Pam Trivett, Fillmore

Jonathon Watson, son of Tim and Julie Watson, Cloverdale

Eric Chambon, son of Marty and Chris Chambon, Greencastle

Scott Sutherlin, son of Tim and Debby Sutherlin, Greencastle

The seniors delivered their own commencement remarks, and special music was presented by Alpha Omega High School and lower grades students, under the direction of Mrs. Steve (Sharon) Blaydes. During the program, the Academy’s kindergarten students also graduated to the school’s first grade fall class. Ian T. Wallace, Alpha Omega administrator and lead high school instructor presided.

Alpha Omega Christian academy, 637 E. US Highway 40, provides prekindergarten through high school instruction in classes held at Putnamville Baptist Church. Currently, the school is in its sixth year of classes in the church facility. For information, please contact Ian Wallace, 765- 653-5426.
