Imagination Library Kick-off!

Programs and Events

Wednesday, June 15, Teen Time, Wednesdays, 4 p.m. Register each week for a different activity— from watching movies, playing trivia games, making jewelry or tie-dye. Events are posted on the Putnam County Public Library Facebook page, or call Cortina for details. For ages 13 – 17.

Thursday, June 16, Summer Storytime! Toddler Time for ages 18 mos. – 3 years with a guardian is at 10 a.m.; Storytime for ages 3 – 7 years of age is at 11 a.m.; and, Tween Time, for ages 8 – 12, years are invited to attend “Professor Atom.”

Thursday, June 16, Imagination Library Kick- Off with Professor Atom, 3 p.m. Professor Atom has an almost magical way of exploring science that is both amazing and entertaining. Following the show enrollment officially begins for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Putnam County families, with children from birth to 5 years of age, can enroll each child to begin receiving a new, age appropriate book in the mail every month—and it’s free!

Saturday, June 18, PCPL @ the Farmer’s Market: Jazz & Art, 10 a.m. – 12 noon. Local artist Jennifer Herrold will create a painting inspired by the music of the jazz ensemble Convergence.

Thursday, June 16 – 10:15 a.m., Hickory Creek @ Sunset; 10:30, Waters of GC/Memory Unit; 11:00, Char’s Day Care; 11:30, Peace Lutheran; 12:00 p.m., Asbury Towers.
