Delta Theta Tau Holiday Home Tour Scheduled For November 19

The 29th annual Holiday Home Tour, presented by Theta Chapter, Delta Theta Tau Sorority, will be on Saturday, November 19th. Tour hours are 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tickets are available at several Greencastle locations, including Eitel’s Flowers and Gifts, Treasures on the Square, Ambler-Hill Florists, Almost Home Tea Room, and Curves. Tickets will also be available at the Delta Theta Tau booth at the Arts and Craft Fair (Putnam County Fairgrounds, November 4th and 5th), along with cheese balls, homemade turtles, and raffle tickets for decorated holiday wreaths (to be given away at the end of the Home Tour).

The homes on this year’s Tour are: Michael and Georgeann Caine, 105 Hilltop Lane (Edgelea); Dave and Sandi Albright, 1908 Windemere Drive (Edgelea); Jamie and Amy France, 203 Northwood Blvd. (in the historic Northwood Addition); Kathryn Sanders, 111 South Spring Street (Spring Tree Square Condominiums in the old High School/Junior High building); and Brian and Jamie Downen, 2921 E Co Rd 275 S, Greencastle.

Also featured on this year’s Tour is the Prindle Institute for Ethics in the DePauw Nature Park at 2961 W Co Rd 225 S, Greencastle. Guided tours of this award-winning facility will be offered and you may relax in the beautiful, natural setting and enjoy complimentary cookies, punch, and coffee. Holiday wreaths will be on display, and raffle tickets will be available (you need not be present to win). We will also be selling homemade turtles.

Be sure to check the back of your Home Tour ticket for discounts being offered by several Greencastle merchants and restaurants. All discounts are valid the day of the Home Tour and many are valid beyond that date.

Proceeds from the Holi- day Home Tour are used exclusively to support the Delta Theta Tau Scholarship Fund and philanthropy donations to Putnam County programs, such as the Summer Enrichment Program, Johnson-Nichols Health Clinic, the Giving Tree, Mary Allison Children’s Trust, and the Reality Store.
