Career Development Events are designed to encourage youth to learn all they can about a specific topic. In entomology they learn to identify insect specimens. They must also complete a quiz on insects. Youth practice the skills of observation, analysis, and communication - skills they will use their entire lives. Youth also enjoy the fun, teamwork, and competition of Career Development Judging Events. There are more than a dozen different competitions where 4-Her’s may participate in career development events.
