Bonita Hadley Bonita Hadley Bonita Hadley, 93, Eminence, passed away on April 10, 2012, at the Mill Pond Health Campus, Greencastle. She was born on November 12, 1918 at Centerton, Indiana and was the daughter of the late William and Rachel {Culver} Lehr.

She married S. G. “Sam” Hadley on December 12, 1935 and he preceded her in death on September 9, 1979. She was a member of the Eminence Baptist Church where she served as pianist for many years. She worked as a ward clerk and also volunteered in the Cancer Unit of the Morgan County Hospital and was a cook at Eminence High School. She loved working in her garden and flowers.

She is survived by her children, Judy Whitaker Finney and husband Richard L., Eminence, Treva Haley, Eminence and Eric Hadley and wife Lisa, Cynthiana, KY, her sister Violet Priest, Columbus, 9 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren,15 great-grandchildren, 4 step-greatgrandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and 7 stepgreat great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Interment was in the Shumaker Cemetery, Eminence.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Beth Ellen Hadley, her son, William Hadley and her sister, Delores Hatter.
