Cloverdale ‘Dollars For Scholars’ To Host Second Annual Phone-A-Thon

Staff Report

The Cloverdale Community Dollars for Scholars organization will host its second annual Phone-A-Thon this coming Saturday, February 9, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and on Sunday, February 10, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Students from Cloverdale High School, under the supervision of Dollars for Scholars board members and the school administration, will be calling parents of current students and of graduates as well as local residents. Thanks to matching monies by a local donor and by the Putnam County Community Foundation, any donations raised by the students will be matched $2 for every $1 raised by the students. So a donation of $25 by a donor becomes a $75 credit to the Dollars for Scholars. The goal for the Phone-A-Thon is to raise $10,000.

If you wish to receive a call or make a donation, please send an email to CloverdaleDollarsforScholars@gmail.com with your name and phone number, or call 765-795-2586 and leave a message with your name and phone number.

Cloverdale Community Dollars for Scholars is a 501(c)3 organization, so your donation may be tax deductible.
