First Annual Leprechaun Run To Be Held In Cloverdale

The Cloverdale Police Department will be directing traffic for the 1st Annual Leprechaun Run on Saturday, March 16, 2013. The main route for the 5K runwalk is from the Cloverdale Middle School, Logan St., U-Drive, Logan St. and go S on Lafayette St. to Roosevelt and Truman Drives and N on Lafayette St. to Brown Ave., finishing at the CHS Track (Football Field). the start of the run/ walk is 10 am and road closures/ blockages along this route will be set up until approximately 12 noon. There will be police, fire, and other public safety vehicles in the area to assist with this event and cones set up for side road closures.

The Cloverdale Police Dept. requests residents and persons traveling in this run/walk route to seek alternate routes or times for your travels and be considerate/ patient of possible delays and directions by public safety personnel so that participants win this family event can remain safe.

The event will be sponsored by Cloverdale High School Student Council and The Cloverdale Comunity Schools Wellness Committee. Proceeds will benefit Student Council’s Senior Citizens Prom.

Check in time will be 9:00 - 9:45 a.m.; start time is 10:00 am.

Registration forms may be picked up at any Cloverdale School or request on line at www.cloverdale. k12.in.us

Kids 1 mile race (10 and under) begins at 10:45 a.m. registration fee is $15.00.
