Fourth grader Alexa Wynia, daughter of Nathan and Brandy Wynia, was chosen as student of the month for Cloverdale Elementary School. Alexa lists her favorite subject as math. She enjoys gymnastics and cheerleading and loves animals.

Mrs. Crum nominated Alexa by saying, “Alexa is wonderful to have in class. She always does her best and is very good at helping others. Alexa has a wonderful sense of humor and uses it at appropriate times. She is a leader in the class and everyone likes her. Alexa is not afraid to ask questions when she is not sure if she understands, she participates in class, and most importantly, she is a great listener. Alexa will succeed in whatever she chooses in life. Her attitude and hard work this year has proven that over and over again. Alexa truly deserves this honor.”

Isabel Monnett was honored as student of the month for Cloverdale Middle School. Isabel is the daughter of Kelly and Russell Monnett. She is very active at CMS, participating in basketball, cross country, track and choir. In the future, she would like to attend Purdue University to become a veterinarian.
