Main Street Receives Donation

Cloverdale Main Street received a $100 donation from Putnam County Foundation Director, Todd Lewis. Mr. Lewis stated the Foundation allowed each director $100 to donate to a 501c3 not-for-profit organization and his choice was Cloverdale Main Street. Mrs. Kay Gedert, President of the organization, accepted the funds noting the organization’s focus is on the historic district of Cloverdale with efforts to improve it’s economic ability. She also noted Main Street hosts activities such as the Farmers Market in the summer, a Fall Fest in September, and the Christmas parade, all with the purpose of promoting the downtown and community of Cloverdale. Mrs. Gedert thanked Mr. Lewis for the donation and the positive outreach of the Putnam County Foundation.
