Free Carriage Rides in Cloverdale Now Set For Friday, December 13

The carriage rides and Christmas tree lighting of the children’s tree in downtown Cloverdale are to be held on Friday, December 13th having been postponed by weather. The free carriage rides will begin at 5 p.m. at the corner of East Columbus and 231 in historic downtown Cloverdale, sponsored by Cloverdale Main Street. The ‘Children’s Tree’ has been part of the holiday festivities for many years as it has been decorated with ornaments made by 4th grade students of Cloverdale Elementary. It is a celebration of children. Santa Helpers will be on hand to light the tree.

Cookies and drink will be available in the Pizza Niche made possible by Girl Scouts and hosted by Red Hatter members and Daytime Darlings Friday night and just prior to the parade on Saturday.

Face painting will be possible for children as the Cloverdale FFA members will provide that fun on the lot by the carriage rides.

Santa comes to town on Saturday, December 14th as the parade will start at 1:00 p.m. traveling along 231 downtown. Celebrate the season and the ‘Storybook’ Christmas with the community of Cloverdale.
