Cloverdale Announces Students Of The Month At January School Board Meeting

(Staff Photo) During a recent meeting of the Cloverdale School Board, students of the month were announced for all three schools for the month of January.

Elementary

Cloverdale Elementary School third grader Clayton Peterson was named student of the month at CES. Clayton is the son of John Peterson and Jessica Hansen and is a student in Mrs. Neese’s classroom. He lists his favorite subjects as math and science

“Clayton is a model third grader,” Mrs. Neese said. “He is kind and courteous to peers and adults and always has a welcome smile and positive attitude. Clayton’s dedication to learning and doing his best work results in excellent grades. He is an effective leader and sets forth a good example for his classmates.”

Middle School

Trinity Davis, a seventh grader and daughter of Joseph Davis, has been chosen as student of the month at Cloverdale Middle School. Trinity lists her favorite classes as language and social students. She is interested in a career where she uses her drawing and artistic talent and she is also interested in being a doctor so she can help others.

“Trinity is one of the most polite students we have at the middle school,” Mrs. Miller said. “She is also very respectful and has excellent behavior. Trinity has never had a discipline write-up her entire time at the middle school. She is an excellent example of how a young lady should conduct herself.”

High School

Kyleigh Roberts, a junior at Cloverdale High School, was named student of the month at CHS. She is the daughter of Amanda Gibboney and Jim Roberts. Her favorite subjects include marketing, art, history and foods. Her future plans include attending college to pursue a degree in fashion.

“Kyleigh is an excellent student her at CHS,” Mrs. Sewell said. “She is polite, kind, goal-oriented and talented. She always gives her best effort and she is respected by our faculty and staff here. She is always wearing a smile, too! Congratulations to Kyleigh and her parents. She is a good candidate for student of the month!”
