Come one, come all to Putnam County Soil and Water Conservation District Fundraiser on March 8, 6-9 PM. Come one, come all to Putnam County Soil and Water Conservation District Fundraiser on March 8, 6-9 PM. Putnam County Soil & Water Conservation District will host their third annual fundraiser on March 8, at the Putnam County Fairgrounds from 6-9 pm. The evening will begin with the doors opening at 5:30 for a preview of our silent auction items. We have a great variety this year. Some of the items donated is jewelry from Mason’s Jewelry, box seat tickets for an Indianapolis Indians game, a chef prepared dinner in your home. We will also have a live auction for our grand donation of a fullsize quilt. The design is “Boston Stars” in patterns and solids shades of blues and reds. We have many more items that will give you an opportunity to bid on if these items fall within the realm of “ho-hum” for you.

Dinner will begin at 6:00 pm. More the Merrier will be our caterer this year so everyone will be loosening their belts again from all of the delicious food choices.

One Size Fits All comedy troupe will be providing a night of competitive improv comedy of two teams flexing their comedic muscles for laughs and points as they make up scenes, games and songs right on the spot, based on audience suggestions. The audience can just sit back, relax and enjoy the fun of what promises to be a great evening with no pressure to participate. Of course, should you like to try to flex your comedic muscle or just like the limelight that can be arranged. As you can see there will be something for everyone. We don’t want you to miss out on the fun while enabling the SWCD to continue to provide programs and education on conservation to Putnam County audiences.

Time is growing short so please contact the Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) office at 765-653-5716 x3 to reserve your tickets today. Ticket prices are $25/ticket, $48/ couple or $180/tables of eight. We are unable to process credit cards, but gladly accept checks or cash. We will hold tickets at the door for individuals that have called and made payment as a courtesy due to all of the inclement weather this year; however, they must be paid for in advance. We will take reservations for the dinner and show until March 5th. Tickets may still be purchased for just the show after March 5th until 4:00 pm on March 7th.
