Laney loves to sing, draw and read and enjoys spending time with her family on outings, fishing or just hanging around the house. Her favorite subjects are art and math. In the future, she would like to attend college. Her dream is to go to NYU or to study in Japan. She would like to major in art or musical performance. She is also considering majoring in math as a backup plan.

Ms. Schroeder said, “Kim Bell is one of the most fantastic young women I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She works hard at everything! Her manners are impeccable. She is always willing to help others. On top of all this, she is an amazing artist!”

High School

Senior Andrew Howard, son of Aaron and Dana Howard, has been named student of the month at Cloverdale High School.

Aaron lists his favorite subjects and science and math. His extra-curricular activities include football, baseball, NAHS and student council. His future plans are to attend Hanover

College to play collegiate football and study to become a physical therapist.

Mr. Varnes said, “Andrew is a great representative for the student of the month award. He works extremely hard in the classroom and in athletics. Andrew brings a very positive attitude to class by actively participating, treating his classmates and teachers with respect, encouraging others and cheering people up with a great sense of humor. Andrew has overcome great obstacles in his young life and I know that he will continue to do great things beyond high school. Congrats, Andrew, and we are lucky to have students like you.”
