‘Christfest’ Christian Concert Premiers Saturday, July 12 At DePauw University

“Christfest,” a community Christian music concert, premieres on Saturday, July 12th at DePauw University’s Green Center auditorium in Greencastle. The day’s musical lineup will include Mark 209, Building Nations, Lexi Elisha, Y.I.B.I.G., and Greencastle’s own Bobbie Lancaster. These accomplished artists have a wide range of musical styles, such as bluegrass, gospel, rock, pop, worship, and kids’ music.

“We saw an opportunity to provide quality entertainment,” Christfest coordinator Di Carter says, “Christfest is a musical extravaganza for all Christians, all denominations, and all ages to come together and celebrate God’s love.”

This is the first year for the event, which is anticipated to draw an estimated 1,000 attendees. General admission tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children under age 12, and free for those under age five. Tickets will be available to purchase at the door, or you can order ticket online in advance at www.christfestpc.com.
