Jim Mabry, 66

Jim Mabry Jim Mabry Of Cloverdale, IN died peacefully in his home on Sunday, November 2 after his battle with lung cancer. Originally from Lafollette TN, Jim moved to Indianapolis as a small boy then to Cloverdale in 1979 where he spent the rest of his life.

Jim worked as an electrician for 36 years until he retired in 2004. His retired years were spent collecting stamps and coins, polishing rocks, and inventing new and “interesting” things to cook. He enjoyed gardening, was a wonderful singer and guitar player, and took great comfort in his faith. He was also a 40 year member of the Beech Grove Masonic Lodge #694.

He is survived by his daughter Lesia (Mabry) Reynolds, son Brice Mabry, and 3 grandchildren - Landon Reynolds, Grayson Reynolds, and Macy Reynolds - and his dog Simon, as well as all of you who called him friend.

There will be no funeral but the family would like to invite you to celebrate his life at a memorial ceremony this week. When the details are available they will be posted here: https://www.facebook.com/Brice.Mabry

The occasion will be completely informal and we hope you will join us in this celebration.

We want to thank all of his friends who so lovingly walked beside him in his journey.
