Cloverdale Lions Present 19th Annual Civic Award

Donna Fidler Donna Fidler The Cloverdale Lions Club recently presented its 19th annual Cloverdale Civic Award to Donna Fidler. The nominations for this award come from the general public. Over sixty people were in attendance to celebrate the presentation.

Mrs. Fidler was presented this award as a thank you for the numerous volunteer hours she has devoted to the betterment of the Cloverdale community.

Fidler currently serves as president of the Cloverdale School Board, and also serves on her church’s board. She was a long-term member of the Cloverdale Alumni Board, and she has also served on the Rockwell board. Her largest community time commitments have been to her church and to the Putnam County 4-H Fair. She is a past fair board member, and a long time superintendent of the goat barn; she also played an important role in getting the new goat barn built.

No matter what board or project she is working on, Fidler puts 100 percent of her heart and effort into it. She is a person that others can count on to do as she says, and she is a great leader.

Mrs. Fidler joins previous Civic Award recipients Dewey Garrett, Todd Lewis, Kerry Shepherd, Joyce Johnson, Mona Smith, Bob Hostetter, Don Walton, Jeff Rich, Rosemary (Davis) Berry, Jack Davis, Dr. Keith Ernst, Eric Hayman, Vera Hughes, Adeline Knoy, Bill Henson, Judy Whitaker, Rod Garrett, Norv Gottula and Wayne Sutherlin. She was presented with a plaque by members of the Cloverdale Community Civic Award Committee, and her name has been inscribed on a plaque that is displayed in Cloverdale Town Hall.
