Celebrate Small Business Saturday at OCB in Spencer

Every year, local independent merchants throughout the country call attention to themselves with Small Business Saturday. The all-day celebration encourages holiday shoppers to shop locally.

This year’s Small Business Saturday is November 29, and if you’re planning to shop, your first stop should be OCB’s Spencer office. OCB’s “Start Here Saturday” event will get shoppers ready for a busy day with free doughnuts, Starbucks coffee, and warm cider starting at 8:30 a.m.

“Local merchants and other small businesses are the bedrock of the community,” explains OCB President & CEO Kurt Rosenberger. “We thought this would be a great way to show our support for these businesses that are not only convenient, but that support all sorts of community activities such as youth sports and local charities.”

The doors will open at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, and there will be plenty of piping hot beverages and tasty doughnuts, so start your own Small Business Saturday at OCB!

OCB is a community bank with approximately $70 million in assets that serves its customers’ financial needs from offices in Cloverdale and Spencer.
