OCB To Offer Free Earth Day Trees

Our Community Bank (OCB) has always been focused on the long-term health and growth of our community, by helping local residents become homeowners. To celebrate Earth Day, they’re going to address those goals in a different way.

Starting on Monday, April 20, and while supplies last, OCB will give away Flowering American Plum tree seedlings at its Spencer and Cloverdale locations while supplies last. “Anyone who would like to plant a tree is invited to stop by either office,” says President and CEO Kurt Rosenberger.

“When people plant trees, they’re actually taking steps to improve the quality of life for their children and grandchildren,” he notes, adding that trees benefit the community not only through their beauty, but by converting carbon dioxide into the oxygen we breathe. “Making that type of long-term investment is a concept that community bankers understand and appreciate.”

OCB is a community bank with over $64 million in assets that serves its customers’ financial needs from offices in Cloverdale and Spencer.
