September 9

The Putnam County Courthouse, located at 1 W Washington St. in Greencastle, will be hosting a blood drive on Wed, Sept 09, 2015 from 1:00pm-5:00pm. Please register online at www.givebloodnow.com using sponsor code: Putnam- Court.

September 11

Greencastle Elks Lodge Fri, Sept. 11, John Wood Combo will be playing from 6:00-8:00 pm. Dinner from 5:30-7:30 pm.

September 12

Cloverdale American Legion Pork Chop Dinner Sept 12, 4:30-7:30. Smoking and Non-Smoking areas. Open to the Public.

Fish Fry at Union Chapel UMC located 4 mi west of 36 & 231, on Sat, Sept 12, 4-8pm with carryout available. A goodwill offering will be accepted.

Putnam County Annual Coin Club Meeting will be held Sat, Sept 12, 9-3 at the Greencastle Nazarene Church, 580 S. Co Rd 100 E. Appraisals available. Public is welcome.

Former Angwell Employees will meet at Jackson’s Family Restaurant in Greencastle on Sat., Sept. 12 at 12:00 for lunch & visiting.

Lifebuilder Community Church, Greencastle invites the community to attend “Church In The Park” on Sun morning Sept 13 (rain date is Sept 20). Fellowship time with donuts, milk, and juice will start at 10:00am with services beginning at 10:30am. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and join us for worship! Greencastle Defenders of Liberty will host A.K. Fielding, Historian, Writer, Artist, at the Putnam County Airport on Mon, Sept 14 at 6:30 P.M. She will discuss the Founding Fathers. The public is invited to attend.

The Poland Historical Chapel will be open the public the second Sat and fourth Sun of each month from 1-4 p.m. Visitors can tour the chapel, as well as view the historical photos and relics from Poland, IN, for free during these times.

NEW SUMMER HOURS for Rescued Treasures located at 1021 Indianapolis Road (next to Goodwill) will be open Tues thru Sat from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Operated by the Humane Society of Putnam County.

Putnam County Antique Tractor and Machinery Association monthly meeting will be held on the second Wednesday of each month, unless otherwise noted, in the Putnam Co. Farm Bureau Board room at 7 pm.
