Although the Clovers tallied their largest total of offensive yardage (227) of the season, they found themselves trailing 22-0 after the first quarter and managed to score just once in the 36-6 defeat.

The second quarter featured the Clovers’ lone touchdown when freshman quarterback Parker Watts connected with sophomore wide receiver Nick Winders, who dove into the end zone for the score. An attempted run for a two-point conversion failed with just more than eight minutes remaining before intermission.
