Cloverdale Town Clerk-Treasurer Wins Reelection; Council Remains The Same

Staff Report

Incumbent Cheryl Galloway was elected November 3rd to serve a second term as clerk-treasurer of the Town of Cloverdale.

Galloway, a Republican, defeated independent Robyn Hughes 113 votes to 104.

“Momentum was won on November 3rd, but so too was the message of change,” Galloway said. “Bring your voices to the town council on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. We all can and should work together so that the community prospers. It takes communication, compromise, and commitment. Many took the first step by voting. Now we look forward to the next step. See you at the town hall.”

In addition, three town council members will maintain their positions, as they ran unopposed. Gary Bennington retains the at-large seat, Larry Fidler the Ward 1 spot, and Don Sublett the Ward 2 position.
