CMS Spells S-U-C-C-E-S-S

Clover Country News from Cloverdale Community Schools

Academic teams have returned to Cloverdale Middle School (CMS)! On Thursday, November 19, the Cloverdale “Spelling Bees” competed in the spell bowl competition hosted at Central Elementary School. The team, coached by sixth grade teacher Lori Halloran, was composed of fifth and sixth grade students; they competed in the elementary division.

Out of eight teams competing in their division, CMS placed sixth. Being that it was the first time this group has competed, coach Halloran was very pleased. “They did really great,” she said. “They all got participation ribbons and Brady Koosman received a ribbon for correctly spelling six of his seven words.”
