(Courtesy Photo) Soul Harvest Church in Cloverdale is pleased to announce the beginning of their three-phase building project. The church has outgrown their existing facilities and currently holds three services each Sunday to accommodate the growing congregation.

Excavation is underway for a 20,000-square-foot addition that will house a 585 seat sanctuary, a fully-functional café, modern nurseries, spacious classrooms for children and teens, new bathrooms, a media production studio, and a lighted, asphalt parking lot. Phase one is scheduled to be completed by April, 2017. Pastor Matt and the SHC family ask everyone to “please excuse our mess while we are being blessed!”

Phase two will include remodeling the church’s existing 2,500 square feet foyer into offices, work areas, and a conference room. Phase three will include finishing the balcony to add an extra 245 seats bringing the total seating to 830 seats. Phase two will be completed by summer, 2017 and phase three will be completed as needed.

Soul Harvest Church started in a cornfield 14 years ago about 8 miles east of Cloverdale. It moved into Cloverdale in 2011 by purchasing a repossessed funeral home and converting it into a church. The church doubled in size the first Sunday in the new building and has grown steadily ever since. The church draws from over eight counties in west-central Indiana and reaches thousands all over the world online each month. The church is heavily involved in local and world outreaches.
