Local Conservation Officer Receives Director’s Leadership Award For 2016

(Courtesy Photo) Indiana Department of Natural Resources Conservation Corporal Dale Clark was recently honored for his supervisory and leadership skills. Clark was one of two District 5 field supervisors to receive the coveted Director’s Leadership Award.

Recipients are chosen based on leadership through integrity, knowledge, courage, decisiveness, dependability, and initiative.

“It was an immense honor to receive the award,” Clark said. “I give the credit, however, to the great officers I work with.”

Clark also received the 2012 Division of Law Enforcement Outstanding Officer of the Year and the District 5 Officer of the Year awards in 2001 and 2012, respectively.

A 16-year veteran conservation officer, Clark resides in rural Spencer with his wife, Wendy, and son, Aiden.
