The Royalty contestants rode in the parade in separate cars, waving to parents and alumni, who came to the annual event, expecting the weather to be wet. However, the weather remained cloudy with slight wind and cooler than that of the days before.

Floats were presented by all classes, also seeking a win for Best Homecoming Float. Students rode through town, supported by the Cloverdale Township Volunteer Fire Department, the Cloverdale Police Department and Indiana State Police.

The Homecoming Royalty Contestants were presented at the Homecoming Football Game at halftime of an 8-6 Cloverdale win against Cascade.
