2nd Annual Trunk or Treat Fri., Oct. 28, 5-6:30 at the Putnamville United Methodist Church. Hwy 40 in Putnamville. Event will be cancelled if raining.

The Putnam County Non-food Pantry, hosted by St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, will be distributing items from 1-3 pm on Sat., Oct. 29 in the parish hall at 520 Seminary Street, Greencastle. Proof of Putnam County residency is required. A light lunch will be served. Halloween treat bags will be given to each child in attendance.

November 1

The Cataract Lake Area Crime Watch will have the next meeting on Tues., Nov 1, 2016 (6:30 pm) at the Cataract Vol. Fire Dept., in Cataract. Come out and bring a couple friends. The Sheriff’s Dept. will give us an update on local problems/ opportunities. Let’s do it right.

The Putnam County Master Gardeners Association invites interested folks to hear Dolly Foster, landscape horticulturist and certified arborist, present “Butterfly Gardening.” DePauw’s Jillian Math and Science Center, Room 251. Refreshments and visiting Nov. 1 at 6:30 PM, program at 7:00 - 8:00 PM.

Boris Goldin of Chosen People Ministries is making a presentation on “The Messiah in All of the Feasts of Israel” at Eminence Christian Church on Sunday evening, Nov. 6th at 6:30. A free will offering is being received. There is no charge to attend. Eminence Christian Church is located in Eminence, Indiana at the corner of North and Forrest Streets about a block east of the Eminence Community Schools.

The Poland Historical Chapel will be open the public the second Sat and fourth Sun of each month from 1-4 p.m. Visitors can tour the chapel, as well as view the historical photos and relics from Poland, IN, for free during these times.

HOURS for Rescued Treasures located at 1021 Indianapolis Road (next to Goodwill) will be open Tues thru Sat from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Operated by the Humane Society of Putnam County.
