The annual event provided students an opportunity to work on extra music as a soloist or in small groups. Each performance is listened to and evaluated by a judge. The students are then given comments on how to improve their performance and awarded a gold, silver, bronze or participation medal depending on the quality of their performance. All students from Cloverdale received either gold or silver ratings for their performances.
The following students received gold ratings in the most difficult division, qualifying them for the State Solo/Ensemble Contest on Feb. 25 at North Central High School: Makenzie Allen, Ki Hedge, Chloe Mannan, Markus Priest, Ethan Stattner, Jimmy Tate, Evan Williamson, and Noah Winings.
