PCPL has a computer technician available to diagnose and help repair your computer and electronics. Most computer problems can be repaired in 20 minutes but if your computer problem is severe enough, or would take longer than 30 minutes to fix, we may recommend you take it to a professional.

Monday, June 26

Imagination Portal Unplugged, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Looking for a little quiet time? These hours are for you. Enjoy the Imagination Portal without monitors, video games, or music in the background.

STEAM Monday, 2-3 p.m. A summer reading event for children ages 8-12. Tinker, make, and create at the library on Mondays. Explore arts and crafts, simple circuits, chemistry and more! Each week will feature a different project but there will always be something to make, build, create, or discover!

Plarning, 4:30-6:30 p.m. Build a better world through plarning! Plarning is the process of crocheting recycled plastic bags into mats for the homeless. PCPL is partnering with the Creative Change Project for this program.

Tuesday, June 27

Baby & Me, 10-10:30 a.m. Sing songs, read stories, play with toys, talk, and laugh with your baby. For early talkers (newborns to 24 months).

Yoga Storytime, 11- 11:45 a.m. Caregivers and children ages 3-10 are welcome to join us for stories accompanied by playful and gentle yoga stretches. We will laugh and be silly with our bodies. No previous practice needed. Feel free to bring your own mat or use one of ours.

Computer Class at The Knoy Center: Computer Basics Part 3, 1-3 p.m. PCPL will hold a three-part computer basics course at the Knoy Resource Center located in Cloverdale High School. All classes are for beginners and are free and open to the public. Registration is required since space is limited. Yarn Perch, 5-8 p.m.

Need Crochet help or Crochet Companionship? Jo MacPhail will take her Yarn Perch (located on the balcony above the lobby) every Thursday evening to help those in need.

Wednesday, June 28:

Mah Jongg Game, 12:30-3 p.m. For all players who know the game (not the computer version). Newcomers are welcome to watch and learn.

Masterpiece of the Month, 4-5 p.m. Each month, we’ll explore different mediums and get inspired by famous artists and illustrators. Listen to stories and create your own masterpiece. All ages are welcome.

Ancient Practices for Modern Healing, 5-6:30 p.m. AyurVed Principles for Health and Ideal Body Weight. In this session, you’ll learn the basic principles concerning nutrition, strong digestion, and maintaining optimal body weight with use of food as medicine.

Learn to Crochet, 6-7:30 p.m.

Thursday, June 29:

Toddler Time, 10-10:30 a.m. Sing songs, hear stories and nursery rhymes, move around to music and action songs, and make a craft. Ages 12-35 months.

Preschool Storytime, 11-11:45 a.m. Hear theme-based stories, move around and sing action songs, make a craft, and have a small snack. Ages 3-5 year olds

Bridge for Everyone, 1:30-3:30 p.m. Come to an open bridge game on Thursday afternoons in the Kiwanis room. All who enjoy bridge are invited to attend, regardless of skill level. This group will be facilitated by Dorothy Brown. If you have questions, please contact Barbara Timm at btimm@ PCPL21.org.

LibrarYoga, 5:30-6:30 p.m. PCPL is offering free Yoga sessions led by certified yoga instructors every Thursday evening. Classes are for all levels of students. Participants should wear comfy, stretchy clothes. Yoga mats, blocks, and straps are available for your use.

Computer Class at The Knoy Center: Introduction to the Internet, 11 a.m. -1 p.m. Putnam County Public Library will hold an Introduction to the Internet class at the Knoy Resource Center located in Cloverdale High School on Friday, June 30, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The class will introduce patrons to search engines, browsers, and some of the best websites on the Internet. Family Film Friday, 1-2:30 p.m. Join us for a movie at the library! This week we’ll be showing an animated film about A young boy who must locate a magical suit of armour in order to defeat a vengeful spirit from the past. All ages are welcome. The movie is rated PG and the running time is 1 hour and 42 minutes. Snacks will be provided.

Saturday, July 1:

Pokemon League, 1-2 p.m. Bring your cards and join the fun! Attend three sessions to earn 10 percent off at Game Warehouse.
