Ten children, between third and eighth grade, participated and learned how to groom, feed, and handle horses.

These 10 children also learned about different breeds and colors of horses and ponies. They received backpacks filled with many pieces of educational literature about horses.

This program was made possible through a grant from The Putnam County Community Foundation. The Putnam County Horse & Pony Club would like to thank all the children, parents, and volunteers that helped make this day happen.

Our club would especially like to thank The Putnam County Community Foundation and Youth Philanthropy Committee for their assistance with this endeavor.
