Locals graduate from Indiana Academy

Jacob Helton and Scott Meyers, both from Cloverdale High School, recently graduated from The Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities.

Students applying to the Indiana Academy must complete a rigorous application process that is based on grades, standardized test scores, teacher recommendations, and extracurricular activities.

Indiana Academy graduates have matriculated to over 300 of the best colleges and universities in the country including Harvard, Yale, Stanford, and MIT as well as many in-state schools that include Purdue, IU, Ball State, Rose- Hulman, and Notre Dame to name just a few. Last year Academy graduates self-reported more than $10 million in scholarship offers including several full-tuition scholarships.

The Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities is a two-year public high school with approximately 300 high ability juniors and seniors located on the campus of Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. For the third consecutive year, the Indiana Academy has been ranked by k12.niche.com as the No. 1 Best Public High School in Indiana, No. 2 Best Public High School Teachers in America (up from 7th in 2016), and No. 3 Best Public High School in America (up from 21st in 2016.)
