Granite millstone donated to Putnam County Museum

(Courtesy Photo) A granite millstone, that was in operation at the Houck family up to the late 1800s in Washington Township, Putnam County, has been donated to the Putnam County Museum.

The Houck family farm was on Big Walnut Creek just south of Boone Hutcheson Cemetery.

The millstone was donated to the Putnam County Museum in the honor of the David Worth Houck family.
