Join the PCPL new homeschool book club!

The Putnam County Public Library will be hosting two monthly book clubs for kids and tweens beginning in September!

The first meeting for kids ages 5-8 years will be on Sept. 7 at 2 p.m.

We’ll be reading “Bink and Gollie” by Kate DiCamillo and Alison McGhee.

Book Club meetings will continue on the first Thursday of every month through November.

For tweens (ages 9-12 years), the first book club meeting will be on Sept. 28 at 2 p.m.

We’ll be reading “The Penderwicks” by Jeanne Birdsall. Meetings for tweens will continue on the last Thursday of every month through November.

Kids who sign up will get a copy of the book to borrow. At each meeting, kids will get a chance to discuss the book and participate in games and activities.

To participate, you can sign up at the library by visiting the Youth Services Reference Desk, by emailing kmullinnix@ PCPL21.org, or by calling 765-653-2755 ext. 121. You can also sign up online by visiting our website at PCPL21.org.
