Putnam County Museum plans an interactive mystery Oct. 7

Just in time for Halloween, a Museum Mystery will be held at the Putnam County Museum, 1105 North Jackson, Greencastle.

The evening of Oct. 7, participants will try to solve a witchy who-done-it! This is an interactive event and the attendees play the various parts of the mystery story. Based on a blood-curdling tale of the Salem Witches, “Are You A Good Witch or A Bad Witch?” it will challenge your sleuthing skills!

Heavy hors d’oeuvres and finger food will be served along with cauldron cider and other treats of the season.

An adults-only evening, come dressed in your best costumes. Roles will range from Salem town bystanders to pivotal characters.

The mystery will be unraveled and the villain revealed at Forest Hill Cemetery, where County Historian, Larry Tippin will give a guided tour of the spooky highlights of this most bewitching of county cemeteries.

Call for your tickets now, as they are bound to go quickly. Individual tickets, $30; couples, $50.

Come ready to participate in a story full of history, scares and plot twists that will keep everyone guessing! Call the museum at 765-653- 8419 before Sept. 18 or it will be too late!
