Dylan Hess #14STRONG Memorial Scholarship Endowment. Dylan Hess was a talented three sport (football, basketball and track) athlete at North Putnam High School who passed away on June 29, 2017 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. The endowment was established by Dylan’s parents, John and Danie Allen, with gifts from many members of the community.

The endowment will benefit the North Putnam Dollars for Scholars chapter to grant scholarships to graduating North Putnam seniors. Dylan has been called the world’s best brother, a trusted teammate, and a friend to the entire North Putnam Community. This endowment is a fitting memorial for this young man who gave in death, as he gave in life, as an organ and tissue donor.
