Participate in planning for the future of Cloverdale

City hosts public open house for the comprehensive plan

Work continues on Cloverdale’s Comprehensive Plan and public engagement process Thursday, Sept. 7 at Town Hall from 5-6:45 p.m.

The first public open house kicked-off on June 8 of this year, where attendees identified possible big community ideas for the next 20 years.

All residents are encouraged to attend the upcoming meeting. There will be a brief summary presentation at 5:30. Come and review the draft goals and plan recommendations! Feedback is instrumental for the planning process, so don’t miss your chance to share your opinions!

The Comprehensive Plan is driven by public input and the city needs your ideas, comments and feedback.

“We want to make sure Cloverdale continues to be a great place to live, raise a family, and provides a high quality of life. Everyones ideas are important in this process,” said Cheryl Galloway, Town Clerk.

This plan will create a framework to guide the community in regards to land use, transportation, and housing in Cloverdale. Cloverdale will be able to use the Comprehensive Plan to guide policy decisions, and to determine if municipal projects and work are in line with and moving the town toward the community’s vision. Ideas created at the first open house will be discussed further at this open house.
