CHS offering help for autumnal chores

Cloverdale High School will conduct a service learning project on Friday, Oct. 6 from 12:30 p.m.

The project, named “Commitment to our Community” is in partnership with Soul Harvest Church, First National Bank, Endeavor Communications, POET, and the Town of Cloverdale.

Service learning is “committed to challenging each student to reach his/her full intellectual, creative, physical, and philanthropic potential through a fully integrated curriculum,” according to school officials.

“We encourage students to participate in this half day service learning opportunity in partnership with local businesses and entities that fosters respect and social responsibility. “

Community members who need assistance in gutter cleaning, raking leaves, or similar maintenance can contact the Cloverdale Clerk’s Office at (765) 795-6033, or Soul Harvest Church at (765) 795-2350.
