Cletus McManama Day celebrated at local Moose Family Center


Cletus McManama Cletus McManama Members of the Greencastle Women of the Moose, Chapter 138 will hold a reception in honor of Cletus McManama on her appointment to the Grand Council, the second highest WOTM position in the nation.

Cletus is only the third Indiana member in history to have received this appointment.

Cletus was appointed and installed to this position at the 104th International Conference of the Women of the Moose in St. Louis, Missouri in July 2016. Cletus previously served as President of the College of Regents Board 2012-2013, on the College of Regents Board in 2008 – 2010 and as Deputy Grand Regent for Indiana 1999-2000.

Cletus joined Women of the Moose Greencastle, Indiana Chapter 138 in August 1989, where she holds a Life Membership. She has served her Chapter as Mooseheart Chairman, Chaplain, Secretary/Treasurer, Recorder, Junior Regent, Senior Regent, and Junior Graduate. She remains an active member in her Chapter.

Cletus currently serves Indiana as Chapter Analyst Coordinator. She previously served as Deputy Regional Manager for Indiana 2004 – 2009.

A member of the 175 Division of the Moose 25 Club, Cletus earned her Academy of Friendship in April 1992, College of Regents in July 1995, and Star Recorder in June 2001.

Cletus is a Past President of the VFW AUK 1550, and a Deaconess for the First Baptist Church. Aside from her Moose activities, Cletus enjoys walking, traveling, reading and spending time with family.

Cletus and her husband, Robert, reside in Greencastle, Indiana. They have five grown children, 11 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

All family, friends, and community are invited to attend any of the scheduled events in Cletus’ honor on Saturday, Oct. 14, at the Greencastle Moose Family Center. The reception will be held from 2-4 p.m. with refreshments. All events to be held in the smoke free banquet room.
