Cloverdale Chamber taking nominations

After serving for several years, Don Gedert, the current President; Ernie Artis, Vice President; and Mike Price, Treasurer of the Cloverdale Area Chamber of Commerce are retiring at the annual meeting which is scheduled for Oct. 19 at the Holiday Inn in Cloverdale at 7 p.m.

The Chamber has been in effect for several years in Cloverdale and the Board has decided it is time for some new blood to step up and take charge. The Chamber is the cheerleader of the business community of Cloverdale and continues to strive to be a positive spokesperson for the opportunities of the I70/231 Cloverdale area.

During the Oct. 19 meeting, nominations will be taken from the floor or self-proclaimed candidates will be welcomed from any currently paid Chamber member or other Cloverdale business owners and operators.

The newly elected officers will be immediately taking over the control and management of the Cloverdale Area Chamber of Commerce for the remaining 2017 and 2018 fiscal year.
