Cloverdale Main Street scarecrow contest winners announced

Cloverdale Main Streets second annual Scarecrow Decorating Contest was a hit for Cloverween. Not only were there some very creative Scarecrows, but the participation increased from last year. The scarecrow frames cost $25 and the money that is collected from the rental of the frames is used to expand and promote Cloverween. The winning scarecrows for the contest this year are shown above. First place, left, went to Cindy Peterson; second place, center, was created by Taylor’s Hometown Hardware: and third place, right, was created by Cloverdale Elementary School. (Courtesy Photos)
