Noodles 101

Are you interested in learning new recipes? Would you like to hear from culinary arts students and community representatives? Do you want to spend a morning with friends trying new recipes? If you answered yes to any of these questions, we invite you to Noodles 101 taking place on Friday, Nov. 17 10:00 am, Area 30 Community Room. During Noodles 101, we will provide cooking demonstrations and tips for healthy eating during the holidays. This event will feature recipes and content provided by Area 30 culinary arts students, registered dietitians, heath educators, and many more.

Registrations are taken by calling the Purdue Extension office at 765- 653-8411. Please register no later than Monday, Nov. 13, 2017. Noodles 101 is a co-sponsorship with Area 30, Indiana Extension Homemakers, Purdue Extension, and Putnam County Hospital. The program cost is $5 which includes taste testing of several recipes, and program material. Event proceeds help expand the Area 30 Culinary Arts program.

Indiana Extension Homemakers Association, founded in 1913, continues to build on its rich heritage by working to strengthen Indiana homes and families. It is the mission of the Indiana Extension Homemakers Association to strengthen families through continuing education, leadership development and volunteer community support.

Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management of Area 30 prepares students for occupations and higher education programs of study related to the entire spectrum of careers in the hospitality industry.
