Gleaners food giveaway will be at the Greencastle Armory from 10 to 11:30 a.m. for seniors 55 & older. You must be a Putnam County resident. Bring ID for verification and eligibility. Bring your own boxes. Food giveaways are on the 2nd Thurs. of each month.

November 10

Cloverdale Community School Corporation will have a district wide Veterans Day program at Cloverdale High School. We would like to invite all community members especially Veterans to our event. The FCCLA will provide a breakfast for Veterans from 7:30-8:30 in the Cloverdale High School Cafeteria. The Program will follow from 9:00-9:45.

Celebrate Recovery a Christ centered recovery program for Hurts, Habits and Hang-ups. This group is for anyone and everyone. We meet every Friday 7-9 p.m. at Soul Harvest Church 14 Crosswinds Dr. Cloverdale IN 46120, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. for fellowship in the SHC Café’ and child care is provided. Women’s Club Christmas Bazaar, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Mary Queen of Peace Parish, 1005 W. Main St., Hwy 36, Danville. Vendors, Christmas baskets, raffle and lunch available. Free admission

Russellville Community Center fourth Annual Holiday Craft & Gift Show, Crawfordsville Masonic Temple 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Large variety of items for sale Sponsored by District 9 OES.

St. Paul’s Ladies Guild Christmas Bazaar at 202 E. Washington Street, Greencastle, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Christmas decorations, crafts, cheese balls, baked goods, quilt raffle and chili lunch available.

Women of the Moose Thanksgiving Dinner. Turkey and all the trimmings, $7 per person. Open to the public. Moose member veterans will receive a free dinner. Serving from 4:30 – 7 p.m. at the Greencastle Moose Family Center.

November 14

Putnam County Retired Teachers will meet at the Putnam Inn on at noon. Covered Bridge Harmony will perform. A short business meeting will be held. All retired teachers are welcome to attend.

Putnam County Beekeepers Association meets the second Tuesday of every month at the DePauw University, Julian Science Building, 6-8 p.m. Free and open to everyone. Call Bob Gruener for further information 765- 386-2679.

DEADLINE for Thanksgiving dinner hosted by Greencastle Christian Church open to anyone in the Putnam county community that is in need. The meal will be served from 11:30-1 p.m. on Thanksgiving day at the church. Carry out and delivery are available to shut-ins. Reservations must be made by Monday November 20. Call the church at 653- 5816 to reserve a meal or for more information.

Cornerstone Baptist Church will be hosting their third annual Gift and Craft Show and Bake Sale, 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. located at 218 S. Bloomington St., Greencastle
