Seniors benefit from Bingo

To the Editor:

On behalf of the Putnam County Board of REALTORS® I would like to thank everyone that attended our Veterans Day Bingo event on Saturday, Nov. 11. It was a great night with over 130 in attendance and lots of cash prizes awarded! The Putnam County Board of REALTOR® scholarship fund was the biggest winner of the night, with proceeds from this event supporting scholarships to each of the four Putnam County high schools.

I would especially like to thank our event sponsors for the bingo: Abstract and Title of Putnam County, Caliber Home Loans, Carpenter Realtors of Plainfield, Collins Evans Real Estate, Daniel Builders, Farm Credit Mid- America, First National Bank, Home Bank, McCloud Electric, North Salem State Bank, Prime Real Estate Group, Quality Title Service, Ruoff Home Mortgage and F.C. Tucker-Schneider Realty.

This event would not be possible without those that helped organize the event, setup tables, chairs and equipment before and after the event, plus those that volunteered their time, talents and resources. We greatly appreciate all those that donated door prizes and concession items as well.

THANK YOU to our members that volunteered their time the night of the Bingo – Gina Carter, Tyler Cox, Mary Looper, Tina Love, Ashley Mattox, Cindy Mattox, Sue McCune, Paul Nauman, Mary Ann Pearson, Rolynn Ramirez, Jeff Rich, George Schneider, Suzy Schneider, Chris Skillern, Cecil VanArsdale, and Chasity Wood. We also appreciate the jail trustees that assisted us with setup, those members that came out to play, and everyone that stayed after the event to help us clean up!

Any Putnam County high school senior that wishes to apply for a scholarship in 2018 can go to http:// www.putnamcountyboardofrealtors.com to print an application. Applications will also be made available through the Putnam County high schools as well.

Thank you for making our scholarships to Putnam County high school seniors possible!
