Clothe-A-Child event Dec. 2

For years the Cloverdale area Clothe- A-Child has been there for local families that are struggling financially at Christmastime.

They receive lists from Cloverdale Elementary School of needy families and they provide those children what they need. They spend $100 on each child and buy what they need. If there is money left over, they will also try to buy a toy or two.

Gifts are wrapped by local volunteers and delivered to CES to be picked up by parents.

On Saturday, Dec. 2 Clothe-A-Child will be holding their annual craft show, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., in the auxiliary gym at Cloverdale High School. They will also have a “Just Dessert” variety show. This is the main fundraiser for the Clothe-A-Child organization and it will begin at 4 p.m. in the CHS cafetorium.
