Bonnie Miller


Bonnie Miller Bonnie Miller Bonnie Miller, of Cloverdale, passed away November 13, 2017.

She was born Bonnie Lee Anderson in Franklin, Indiana in 1928.

She married first husband, Bob Cavender, in 1944. After his death in 1945 she married her grade school boyfriend, Clyde Miller, making them the memorable couple “Bonnie and Clyde.” They lived in Indianapolis next to LongAcre until 1970 when they moved to ‘the farm’ in Cloverdale.

Bonnie was always busy and loved working in her garden, metal detecting, painting, and reading. She was a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Faith Baptist Church. Bonnie was a talker and had a wealth of stories, her favorites being that she saw Elvis at a train station and met Hoosier cowboy actor Max Terhune when she was a child.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Miller; daughter, Madeline Richardson; and granddaughters, Kim Bonham and Janet Hoagland.

Bonnie is survived by daughters, Marcella Pagano, Gwen Blair (Larry), Cathy Miller, and Teresa Long; grandchildren, Jeff Johnston, Lesia Mabry Reynolds (John), Brice Mabry, Jason Long, Jennifer Long, Angela Long Vega, Tracy Duhamell Taylor (David) and Chris Duhamell; as well as 24 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

She was known to say, “God said ‘go forth and multiply’ and we took it to heart!” Her stories and high-pitched laugh will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
