LGBTQ+ voices: challenges and hope at PCPL

The Putnam County Public Library, in conjunction with the Putnam Pride Initiative, will host an LGBTQ+ panel discussion on Dec. 5 at 6:30 p.m. in the library’s Kiwanis Room. Members of the local LGBTQ+ community will be in attendance to educate the public on LGBTQ+ issues and provide a safe space for sharing experiences and asking questions.

Panelists will include Veronica Pejril to speak on gender identity; Sarah Rowley to discuss the historical perspective and legal issues; JD Grove to speak about bisexuality and queer identity; Fr. John Rumple to discuss a faith perspective; and Rev. Bryan Langdoc to speak on the history of the Reconciling (open and affirming) status at Gobin Church and the larger Methodist church.
