Pajama Story time

Join us at the Putnam County Public Library for a Pajama Story time on Dec. 14 at 6 p.m. Wear your pajamas to this family story time featuring stories, songs, and rhymes. Afterwards we’ll enjoy some hot chocolate and cookies! All are welcome!

Wednesday, Dec. 6

Play Mah Jongg, 12:30 -3:30 p.m. For those who know the game. Newcomers need to contact Janice at DarksidersMaxine@msn.com to arrange for instruction.

Brick Club, -5:30 p.m. Build creations using LEGO bricks. Your masterpiece will be displayed in the library!

Ukulele Group, 6-7 p.m. Do you play the ukulele? Join us every Wednesday at 6:00 for an open ukulele jam! Beginners welcome.

Time Travelin’ Genealogy Group, 6-7 p.m. This month we’ll focus on DNA testing as it pertains to genealogy and learn how to break down brick walls, including adoption. We will discuss the various kinds of DNA tests, as well as the companies and websites that host databases. We will also plan for 2018 programs, projects, and trips.

Thursday, Dec. 7

Community Help Desk, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. PCPL has a computer technician available to diagnose and help repair your computer and electronics. Most computer problems can be repaired in 20 minutes but if your computer problem is severe enough, or would take longer than 30 minutes to fix, we may recommend you take it to a professional.

Music Makers, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Join us as we sing, dance, and play with percussion instruments and our parachute!

Bridge for Everyone, 1:30-3:30 p.m. Come to an open Bridge game on Thursday afternoons in the Kiwanis room. All who enjoy Bridge are invited to attend, regardless of skill level. LibrarYoga, 5:30-6:30 p.m. Every Thursday from 5:30 to 6:30 the library is offering FREE Yoga sessions led by certified yoga instructors. Everyone is welcome, regardless of skill level. Participants should wear comfy, stretchy clothes. Yoga mats, blocks, and straps are available for your use.

LGBTQ+ Book Club, 6-7 p.m. The LGBTQ+ Book Club will be reading “The Girl on the Edge of Summer” by J.M. Redmann at 6 p.m. in the Rotary Room. Friday, Dec. 8

Imagination Portal Unplugged, 9 a.m.-noon.

Advanced Word Processing, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Advanced Word Processing will discuss the more advanced features of modern word processing software.
