Poland pair behind bars for alleged drug activity

Two Poland residents were arrested Tuesday, and face numerous charges for alleged methamphetamine distribution.

Deputies with the Owen County Sheriff’s Department, assisted by Indiana State Police, executed a search warrant at a property on Lakewood Drive in Cunot, according to Owen County Chief Deputy Matt Miller.

The warrant was the result of an ongoing narcotics investigation conducted by detectives with the Sheriff’s Department. During the execution of the search warrant, deputies located a large amount of crystal methamphetamine, controlled substances, paraphernalia, U.S. currency, and firearms. One of the firearms was discovered to have been stolen from Brown County.

As a result of this investigation, two individuals were arrested and are facing criminal charges.

-Randall Lee McDougall, 35, of Poland, was charged with:

2 counts of Dealing Methamphetamine, a level-3 felony

1 count of Dealing Methamphetamine, a level 2 felony

Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, a level 2 felony

Dealing a Schedule 4 Controlled Substance, a level 6 felony

Maintaining a Common Nuisance, a level 6 felony

Possession of Stolen Property, a level 6 felony

Possession of a Firearm by a Domestic Batterer

- Adriana Nicole Corder, 28, of Poland was charged with:

Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, a level 2 felony

Possession of Stolen Property, a level 6 felony

Maintaining a Common Nuisance, a level 6 felony

This investigation is still ongoing, according to Miller. Both suspects remain at the Owen County Jail. McDougall is held on a $200,000 cash/surety, and a $5,000 cash surety bond. Corder is being held on a $100,000 cash/ surety bond. McDougall and Corder were scheduled for initial hearing in Owen County Circuit Court on Thursday, Dec. 21.
