LEGO birthday bash Jan. 28

Introduced on Jan. 28, 1958, the LEGO Building Block is 60 years old! Join the Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department on Sunday, Jan. 28 from 1-5 p.m. at the Inn at DePauw, 2 West Seminary Street in Greencastle as we celebrate the 60th Anniversary of LEGO .

Enjoy amazing creations from brick artists and engineers of the Indiana LEGO Users Group (IndyLUG) including their G.B.C., as well as collections from some of our local LEGO fans, too. Play soccer and basketball from the LEGO Sports Collection.

Sponsored by the Inn at DePauw & Event Center, Humphrey’s Outdoor Power, DePauw University Bonner Scholars, HWC Engineering, WREB 94.3 FM, IndyLUG and Brickworld, this special event will be held as a LEGO Fans Food Drive to help restock the shelves of the Putnam County Emergency Food Pantry. Admission will be one non-perishable food item or donation per person.

Oh yeah, are you wondering what a G.B.C. is? Join us at the Inn at DePauw on Sunday, Jan. 28 to find out! Learn more at www.greencastleparks.com.
